Terms of Service

These Terms govern how you access and use MakrCave, the makerspace operations portal within the MakrX ecosystem. They work alongside theMakrCave Privacy Policyand any local agreements you have with your makerspace organisation. By using MakrCave you agree to the commitments below, including compliance with all training and safety requirements set by your organisation.

Your Responsibilities

Operate equipment responsibly and follow all onsite safety guidance.
Keep account credentials private; do not share MakrCave logins or badges.
Respect the privacy of other makers by handling shared data with care.
Report incidents or policy concerns promptly to your makerspace administrators.

Restrictions

When using MakrCave you may not:

Attempt to bypass access controls or interfere with hardware safeties.
Upload prohibited content (malware, hate imagery, or designs you do not own).
Reverse engineer or copy proprietary MakrX software without permission.

Service Availability

MakrX provides MakrCave on a best-effort basis. We may pause features for maintenance or security fixes, and we reserve the right to revoke access in the event of policy violations or overdue fees. Critical outages are communicated through the notifications centre and the MakrX status page.
